When I will look at your portfolio, photographically it will speak about you to me. Simply, your portfolio is you. It represents to others exactly what you wish them to know about you as a photographer. It is the medium for showing your visual, creativity and craftsmanship. Therefore, the portfolio you submit for will be considered as representing your best work.

What this session will bring to you?

  1. Bridging ‘what you are’ and ‘what you want to be’
  2. Individual guidance on developing your strengths in your photography
  3. Building your visual literacy and advanced compositional techniques
  4. One-on-one counseling on what to do next
  5. How to identify your weakest images and strongest works in your portfolio or project
  6. How to show your unique attributes through your images
  7. How to market yourself as a photographer and how to get your work exhibited/featured
  8. & I love to give surprises.

Fees: Free in basis of selection from submission of students.

Seats: 20 seats per group.

Schedule: Date: 7th September, Saturday, 2013, Start from 10:30 A.M

Time: Group schedule and timing will email you after the selection process complete.

Submission Guidelines:

By following these guidelines, you will make your very best impression and help me to fairly evaluate your work.

  • Each willing student has to submit 5 best images (low res) and A-short-biography for the selection by email to akashimages@gmail.com  before 3rd September, 2013
  • An email will be given to you by confirming selection and further instructions
  • Each selected student has to follow the selected time slot and cannot change it without prior acceptable reason & request.
  • Each student should bring printed 20 images of a project/ individual images that they would like to consult, edit and discuss.
  • If you are going to present 1 series, it should have max 20 photographs. If you are going to present 2 series, one can have 10-12 photographs in each.
  • 20 images of 8 x 12 inch size prints are acceptable and submitted by student and discussion will be held at the same time, keep soft copies of photographs with you too.

 

 I am waiting to assist you to create a cohesive body of work that demonstrates your personal signature in your every image.

    wow….it’s a great opportunity for every bangladeshi photographer……i will try my best to be the part of this new history of bangladeshi photography ,i hope my dreams will be come true with in short time.
