I am glad to introduce my student’s work who has done a 4-week online photography course ‘Street Photography ’ at The Compelling Image.

My student Kym Ahrens is based in USA. After completing the course she has surprised me with some outstanding images. Photography that captures images we often overlook. Slowing down to observe beauty that surrounds us is a central theme of Kym’s photography. Kym Ahrens is a pediatrician who works with foster youth at her day job in Seattle, Washington. Photography is one very important way that she keeps her life in balance.

I hope my students will be happy to see her work and I want you all to continue to take mages at your best level. And best wishes to my student Kym Ahrens.

Kym Ahrens Comment:

‘I really enjoyed my street photography course with GMB Akash.  I went into the course nervous to ask strangers if I could photograph them.  I came out confident and proud of my ability to engage people and take their candid portraits.  Akash’s feedback was constructive and honest, and each lesson provided specific techniques for improving my eye or composition.  I really enjoyed this course, and street photography has quickly become my favorite type of photography.  Thank you Mr. Akash!’ -Kym Ahrens (Seattle, Washington, USA)
