About the Instructors:

Makcik Tenny Schneider : ‘Born in 1969, I grew up in a small town in the highlands of South Sumatra, Indonesia. Now I am based in Paris. I am a self taught Photographer. And I diversified my skills and interest from travel photography to other genres: Fashion, studio, landscape, macro, street, art, people and portraits. I like to travel and my photo trips led me to a number of fascinating countries beyond Indonesia, including Vietnam, Myanmar, China/Tibet, India, Ethiopia, Kenya, New Zealand, and some European countries. Over time, I came to enjoy travel and portrait photography more and more. I love to photograph people; from young to old, male and female, but in particular local people from rural and remote villages. Their traditional way of living fascinates me. Awards has given me partial inspiration to work but fantasy for discovering unknown and capturing life remain my main mission to pursue photography. I have been doing photography from film genre to digital revolution. My life is all about traveling and photography’
